Create Your Own Google Super Bowl Ad on YouTube

Who is Hani Mourra | Easy Online Video Tips ThumbnailIn 2010, Google ran a 60 second Super Bowl ad, made simply with a few Google searches and a little music. People were blown away by the simplicity and effectiveness of the ad that Google decided to make create a tool to help anyone create their own version of the Google Super Bowl ad for YouTube.   This tool, called the Google Search Stories Video Creator, asks you to enter 7 searches in a Google search bar, gives a choice of 24 songs to choose from, then it automatically creates a YouTube video for you….pretty slick eh!  This video creation tool was made available to everyone just a few days ago, so I decided to create my own Google Search Story video about myself.  I called my video “Who is Hani Mourra?”.  Check it out for yourself below and let me know what you think…it literally took me less than 5 mins to make this video.

Why don’t you create YOUR OWN Google Search Story Video? Go ahead and create your own Google Search Stories Video now and paste the YouTube video embed code in the comments below.  I’m sure we can all learn something interesting about each other from it. If you’re new to online video, then this is your opporutnity to create your first video in under 5 mins :)

  1. Thanks Hani. I tried a Search Story a few weeks ago with moderate success. What you showed here was how good the result could be if you chose your search terms carefully. I’ve had another try and here’s the latest effort.

    Hey Carol,

Thanks for sharing your video…it looks fantastic by the way! While I was creating this video, I found it enlightening to see how I appear in the Google search engines. You’re right..choosing the right keywords in your search will give you better results.

This exercise opened my eyes and reminded me that I need to go back and do more keyword searching and optimizing using the free Google Keyword I talk about in this video:

It’s always fun to keep learning, isn’t it :)
