Mistake #2: Improper Use of Video Tags. In order for your videos to get noticed and potentially go viral, Google and other search engines must be able to find them. Since search engines can’t read any text from your videos, they rely on the Title, Description, and primarily on the Tags (also known as Keywords) to find your videos. The idea here is to associate your video with highly searched keywords, not keywords you think people are searching for. Be as specific as you can and be careful not to go overboard here. I recommend to keep the number of tags between 5 and  10. Here are two easy methods to find popular keywords for your video:

1. Search on YouTube and use the tags from the most popular videos.

2. Using Google Adwords Keyword Tool.
